ORTHODONTISTS
Dr. Dan Allen, DDS, MS
Dr. Dan Allen is an orthodontist with over a decade of orthodontic experience. He attended Ogden High where he played tennis and was on the debate team. After serving a church mission in Portugal and earning a bachelor’s degree at Weber State University, Dr. Allen attends what is often considered one of the best dental schools in the country - the University of Washington. After graduating from dental school in 2000, Dr. Allen attended the University of Chicago for an additional three years of specialized orthodontic training, where he graduated in 2003.
Prior to Oasis Kids and Orthodontics, Dr. Allen practiced in Idaho before starting his own practice in El Paso, TX. In Texas, Dr. Allen was recognized as "Best of The Border" in Orthodontics - an award voted on by patients and other dental providers. In 2019, Dr. Allen decided it was time to sell Allen Orthodontics (the name of his Texas practice) and move home with his family.
Dr. Allen and his wife, Erin, have four kids. As a family, they enjoy boating, skiing, tennis, church, and fly fishing. Dr. Allen is excited to be home and serve the wonderful people of northern Utah.
PEDIATRIC DENTIST
Dr. Neal Esplin
Dr. Neal Esplin is a specialist in Pediatric Dentistry. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Brigham Young University and completed Dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond Virginia.
After Dental School, Dr. Esplin completed specialty and residency training in Pediatric Dentistry through NYU Langone Hospitals in Tucson, AZ.
He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and serves on the board for certification of Certified Medical Illustrators as one of two health care professionals.
Dr. Esplin enjoys spending time with his wife and eight children. When life affords a few extra minutes, he can be found drawing, painting, and gardening.
